Between 2001 and 2009 MVFRI administered motor vehicle fire safety research valued at $4.1 million. The MVFRI website documents the results of the extensive safety project. During the period 1995 to 2001, General Motors devoted $10 million to motor vehicle fire safety research. The results of that research program is also documented on the MVFRI website. The GM results from 15 projects are accessible by way of the "Library" tab, above. Fire Safety reports from NHTSA and private researchers are also in the "Library". |
